I was bored during my off day last Thursday, so I decided to rummage through my old pictures and post them up on FB. I know most of my pictures were really offbeat and simply "UUURGH" but who doesn't look offbeat and "UUURGH" back in the 90s and early 2000 man?? Hahahaha!

Looking back, it somehow shows how much we've grown as a person. From someone so carefree and innocent, to someone with full of responsibilities to shoulder. I wish I was at that age whereby I don't even dare do the wrong things. But now, even when we know it's wrong, we'd do it anyway.. I'm sure y'all feel the same too, right?

Actually, I don't even know what the hell I'm blabbering about! Hahaha! Oh! Right after I posted up those pictures in FB, I received friend requests from ex-schoolmates from both Primary and Secondary School! Wonders of FB.. :)

I think this was the only picture-taking session we ever had! Don't recall taking class pictures throughout my Primary School days, except for this!

I was actively involved in almost EVERY performance there is! Hahaha! I just love performing la! :)

Hmm.. I'm guessing we performed Spice Girl's song during this time. Can't really remember the song we danced to.

During my 12th birthday held at Nyai's crib.. I miss this place so much! Too much great memories here.. :(

In less than a month, we'll be celebrating our 8th years together. 8 years, ey? And with that added status to our relationship, I just feel so blissed to be with you. :) Now, let's see what to do on our 8th year? Feel like sketching a nice picture of us (minus shading coz I suck at that!) and frame it up. But with my hectic schedule, I doubt I'll have the time. Whatever it is, I hope we'll get to spend a fruitful time together.

Let us all welcome the new member of the Musilan's Club - Nurul Aliah Farzana Bte Abdul Aziz!

Made a quick visit to Paman's crib after work just to take a peek at that bundle of joy. She sure is cute and not to mention chubby! And she's got a dimple on her right cheek! One day she'll grow up to be a heart breaker coz of her dimple. Lol!

Anyways, I ordered diaper cake from StubbornSnails.com for lil Aliya. Diaper cake is NOT a cake but its "ingredients" are made up of baby's clothings, bib, diapers and some other stuff and they're wrapped to look like a cake. Sab introduced her cousin's business a year ago when we ordered one for lil Qais' first birthday. It looks different from all the other hampers coz it's just different. Heh. Oh by the way, they can make the cakes according to your own budget and they do not recreate the ones you see on their website coz most of the items they buy are subject to availability. Finally got my pay last Saturday so I decided to treat my lovely family for dinner at Simpang. I actually wanted to dine in Sakura but B said... urm.. something.. I forgot what it is already! Heh! Came up with a few eateries but decided to go to good ol' Simpang instead. And I can't believe after 2946586458701 times I've been there I still have to think what to order and at the end of the day, I still eat the same thing - GRILLED MUSHROOM CHICKEN. Boring pe?! Hahahaha!

After dinner, we were almost close to going home but my brothers said "Alah nak balik? Boringnye..!"... Then they suggested we go for a movie la, go up the slope near Jurong (You know the one like rollercoaster? That very steep road? Argh! Never mind!) and some other nonsense. So to cut the story short, we headed down to Singapore Flyer for a walk. Hehe..

K at this point I'm really lazy to type more so just enjoy jela.

I'm back! Ok I know I should've been "back" like a few weeks ago but haven't you heard of the phrase "semangat seminit"? Hehehe.. That aside, I finally got the time (and after much contemplation) to update this site. Let's see, I'll just summarize the important events right after my engagement. Y'all don't have to know so much anyways, right? ;)

100110 - Wirda & Adeel's Wedding

Fetched Jamil from his house at Bedok then drove straight to Yishun to meet the rest of the Chicaz. Initial meeting time was a bit cocked up especially when we planned to arrive earlier than the birthday girl herself. But still, we managed to keep our secret under tight wraps. Hehehe.

When we were on the way to Wirda's crib, we were devastated to see the road jam packed with vehicles! The two bikes managed to "selit" through the traffic but still, lost their way and went to some place else (was it Toa Payoh or Braddell?) instead of Whampoa! HANG KATA HANG TERROR HANG PI DAH! Hahaha!

After filling our empty stomachs, singing our lungs out and picture taking sessions with the bride and groom, came the most EXCITING part of the day.... THE SUPRISE!

Yes! The surprise was to celebrate Wani and B's advanced birthday! Wooohoo! I still can't forget B's expression when I opened the cake box and there he was standing behind us peeping through and smiled ever so widely when he saw his name on the cake! PRICELESS I TELL YOU!

After the cake cutting and all that jazz, it was time for more camwhoring sessions! Even the guys joined in too!

Once again, many congrats to Wirda and Adeel on their wedding day! You guys sure look really fabulous on that day. MAKE BABIES SOON ALRIGHT? No pressures but SOON ok? Hahahaha..

140110 - B's birthday

On the night of 13 Jan, bought a lil cake for B and stuffed it in my bag (that's what big bags are for anyways! hahahaha). Planned to celebrate his birthday at the stroke of midnight but somehow, my plan proved to be futile. When we were at Cheers, I told him I wanted to buy something and when I asked for lighter, he asked me, "Lighter nak buat ape? Mane ade cake?". Damn he's good at reading my mind! And I hate it sometimes coz it was supposed to be a SURPRISE! CAN I JUST HATE YOU AND LOVE YOU AT THE SAME TIME? Hahahaha.

Anyhoo, in the end, we didn't wait till the clock striked 12! Hahaha. We waited and waited some more and gave up at about 11.10pm coz we were both so hungry and besides, he already knew the surprise anyway. Oh and this year he didn't get his present on the actual day coz akak da pokai selepas majlis yang telah diadakan pada 2 haribulan Januari yang lalu. Hehehe. You'll get the "thing" you wanted so badly once I get my big B at the end of the month ok? :)

So far only these two events were the important ones for me. I've got a lot of plans in store for next month and coming really soon (ie on Monday!) is the reunion with my ex besties from YYSS. First up for next month, I have a mini reunion dinner with the old TSTMTO team most probably on the 5th or 6th Feb. I can't wait to catch up on lost times with Kakak! Miss her too much!

Next, I've got TSTMTO chalet planned on 12th & 13th Feb and I'm sexcited for it! First time that we're organising a chalet with the whole (almost) team! WEEEE~~

AND GUESS WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY FOR NEXT MONTH??? Y'all better know the answer! Hehehehe.

Alhamdulilah, everything went smoothly and for once, I didn't even feel nervous at all. In fact, I was really, really happy! It really was a day worth waiting for.. :)

To Mak & Ayah - Thank you so much for supporting and helping me with the preparation for this big day. I know that when I broke the news that we're gona get engaged, came as a shock at first coz it was too sudden. To Bik N & Bik Ani - Thank you for constantly contributing ideas, making and even ordering the gubahan for me. Also, for camping at our house to rewang and do some last minute touch-up for my room and whatnots. This day wouldn't be possible without your help. :)

To Diah StudioPerfect - Thank you for taking time off from your lovely kids and making me look like the "Wanita Melayu Terakhir" today. When I emailed you weeks ago, I was really sceptical that you'd still be available for booking on this day. And with Mak constantly bugging me to check if you've replied, made the situation even more stressful. But thank god you didn't have any other clients! :)

To Liza Sinful Cravingz - Thank you for taking in my last minute order for your really sinful Oreo Cheesecake. It looks really lovely and I bet it'll taste even more tastier! Too bad I had to give it away to the guy's side coz everyone wanted to have a taste of it! Would love to meet you the next time round since we didn't get the chance to when I collected the cake the other day. :)

To Along & Nana - Thank you for being my photographers on that day. More so for Along since he came all the way after his bike practical to start on his "assignment". Nana, thank you for lending me your dulangs (though i returned them to you a few days later.. heh) and "sponsoring" that bouquet of flowers. :)

To Serena - Thank you for letting me borrow your camera for today. It must've been hard for you to part with your most priced possession. But I think that won't be the case since we're like Jie-jie and Mei-mei already. Hehehe. :)

To my Chicaz & babes from ISQ - Thank you all for the I-don't-believe-you faces when I broke the news to you guys during our recent meet-up. Heh. You guys were in for a rude shock right? Hahaha. It's exactly 1 week from the day and I'm soooooo excited! Time pass really fast when you're anticipating for a much awaited event your entire life. :) I no longer feel stressed out, though I should be by now since not a single thing is done yet! Hehehe... But it'll be rather hectic starting next week coz of the preparations and whatnot. EXCITED BABY! WEEEEEEEE~~~

Anyways, today's Christmas party at work went pretty well. We had 2 sets of party meal from KFC & 4 XL pizzas from Canadian. Thank god they managed to finish up everything coz I thought they wouldn't be able to. Well, I guess I underestimated the power of empty stomachs! Hee! I think today's just not my day.

First thing's first, woke up in the morning with a throbbing headache. Normally I'd get really bad headaches when I don't get enough sleep. *shrugs* But it's getting a lil bit better since I just ate two Panadols to ease the pain.

Then, while at work, this idiotic bapok just had to make my blood go upstairs (haha direct translation from Malay). He was being such an irritating freak by making a big hooha over a small issue. He even called me "rigid" for not helping him to check whether he's a member. At first, he said he didn't bring his card, then when I told him that he needs to present his card to get the discount, he claimed he had misplaced it. So I told him that he needs to pay $10 for replacement fee and he then twisted his words (again!) saying that he suddenly remembered that he had lent it to his niece. Irritating! After that he went to Beverly, my Pinoy attachment staff, and kept on repeating that "rigid" word. He even went to Topshop to complain to Maggie! Tired of hearing his rants, Maggie told him to pen down his "thoughts" in the feedback form... and guess what?? That fucker used 3 feedback forms to freaking complain! BLOODY HELL! I've yet to read his "words of wisdom".. Maybe they've already thrown it away.... OOOPSSS! :x

Aaaahhh.... I feel much, much better after letting it all out! Well, actually my day wasn't that bad la but if you were in my position, headaches and complains usually don't go well together. So that explains this entry. Hehe.. I know it's getting kinda boring here. But you still keep coming back for more right? Betol tak DATIN NISA? hehehehe

Initial plan for today was to head down to the beach. As I was happily packing my bag with all the necessities, the cloud started to gather and became darker.. I wouldn't mind if the rain was for half an hour, but it stretched to 2 hours la! So much for a "joyous" occasion. Chet!

After the rain stopped, we headed to J8 to catch a movie but ended up scratching off the idea too coz they were only showing X-Men, The Uninvited, Angels & Demons and another one which I've already forgotten the title. Looks like I won't be as bored as what I've mentioned on my previous post afterall coz that boy won't be going nowhere. ;)

So today, marked his last day working in Cantonment. Now, he's training to be a househusband while waiting for his ORD, which is on the 9th. Hehe.. Macam faham je nak jadi househusband.. PUI! Along's ORD is one day earlier than B's so sama-samalah korang maju kehadapan.. LOL!

2 years fly really fast, doesn't it? I still remember the day before he went to camp. He sent me home after we watched Transformers and I cried when he was about to leave. Eeeee so gembeng! LOL! Anyways, he's still stressed about what kinda job to look for or whether he should just sign-on. Well, whatever your decision is, I'll be there to support you all the way. :)

On another note, I'm still thinking of what to wear for tomorrow. It's gona be Tampines One's official opening ceremony and Topshop/Topman's gona have an event so we have to dress up. Think Im'ma get B's opinion. K bye!

After all the hard work (11 days to be exact!), I finally get my off day! WOOHOOO!!!

Anyways, just so you know, you still hafta queue to get in to Uniqlo. Other than their cheap pricing, I don't know what's so interesting about them coz I've yet to check them out. So far what I've heard is that they're sizes are really funny as in if you're a size S, it fits on your shoulders but the length of the shirt is pretty short. Likewise, if you're a size M, the length will be pretty darn long.. And to see all those people queueing up just to get in is just too ridiculous. Macam manenye high-end brand je nak kene queue. Pfft! Oh by the way, they're under Wingtai so it's like an internal competitor for us. Bet you didn't know that, right? But whatever la! I have this feeling that it'll just be another fad for Singaporeans. Typical.

So enough about work already. I spent the whole day on FB playing Scrabble and Uno while watching Paris Hilton's My New BFF on the net. So much for wanting to clean up my messy room today. Looks like I'll have to bring forward to my next off.. *grins*

On another note, I feel like getting a new phone. Maybe I should get matching phones for me and B. Nokia E71, I suppose? Hmm.. I don't know yet. Anyhoos, left at 1pm with Kakak to meet Cecilia and the rest for a meeting. I seriously can't wait to see our shop! It looks kinda big when Justin showed the video he took of the store. After all was said and done, we went to Far East to get our nails prettified (ok I made that word up!). I chose (well I didn't really choose the colour, it was Cecilia's idea) two different shades of orange for my hands and feet, Kakak took red (standard ah always want to feeling-feeling air stewardess!) while Cecilia went for electric blue. I think I'm gona change the colour pretty soon.. Just not feeling it! Hehe.

Thumbs up to Confessions of a Shopaholic! It was a really funny movie and at the end, it made me feel like selling all my clothes off! Honestly, I think I can relate to Isla Fisher's character (I bet all the girls out there are feeling the same way too!), minus the credit cards part (credit cards are EVIL, by the way!). I would normally buy things on impulse and on love-at-first-sight basis. It's really hard not to resist when you're working at the most sought after brand! Ceh ceh! ;)

Anyways, tomorrow's gona be my last off day and I won't be having any till next two weeks. I'll be working my ass off for the whole of next week so let's just pray that I won't fall sick after that.

This afternoon, I accompanied B to the workshop at Defu Lane, where our bike was towed to. I didn't manage to take pictures coz we were too engrossed inspecting the damages. Ok so, the damage sustained were not as bad as what I had imagined it to be. But still, quite alot of things need to be changed. This part we don't have to worry coz that stupid apek will foot the bill (HE HAS TO!). *evil grin*

Anyways, the worst damage was on the tail light. The cover was badly broken with some pieces stuck in its exhaust pipe. The rider's footrest on the right looked like it has melted. I think somehow the canvas that was covering our bike, got stuck on that apek's cab which resulted in our bike being dragged when he accelerated. The frame for the exhaust pipe had scratches on it. The alignment for the front wheel was off. And the right handle bar was badly scratched....

I could go on and on, you know. But I'm pretty sure you're all bored by now coz you know nuts about what I'm saying. Maybe except for Sab.. *giggles*

We'll be going down again on Thursday together with that apek to discuss on the cost of the damages. Hopefully, it won't take long for the repair works to be done. If not it'll be public transport all the way bebeh!

Anyways, this morning went to warehouse to sort out our stocks for the new outlet. Met our new colleagues for both brands and for a bunch of newbies, they sure work really fast! We started at about 9ish and finished up all the stocks at about 12ish, all 50 cartons!

After which, some could go home while some had to go back to warehouse to finish up some stuff. I had to go up the office to photocopy some documents, as usual. I'm like the administrative assistant in the shop, but I don't really mind. Da biasa ah buat keje-keje gini.. ;)

Then at about 4pm, it was home sweet home! I swear today was the most stickiest day I've ever gotten myself into ever since.... my ITE days! Pastu badan gatal-gatal nak mampos. *giggles*

Last Saturday, headed for Lina's chalet after work at Downtown East. As usual, we had loaaads of fun! Especially when playing Heart Attack with B... When he had all the similar cards, suddenly we heard a very base "Heart Attack!"... And we all burst out laughing! Funny shit I tell you! LOL!

That mere few hours spent with my Primary School friends was all worth it.. Kept changing the venue at the very last minute. In the end we managed to come to a conclusion and settled for Cold Rock at Lorong Mambong instead of that spoooooky Dempsey Road.

I had a great time catching up with each other.. And after what Adha has told us, now I secretly wish to see how Edleen looks like! *giggles*

By the way, thanks again for the gifts girls! ;)

Soon, you won't be seeing this face in Bugis. I'll be going far, far away. Okla maybe not as far as over-the-hills-and-far-away-Teletubbies-came-to-play kinda far. I'll still be in Sin-cha-por.. In the eastern side, to be exact. Location will be revealed after the break. ;)

Anyhoos, right after I get the news, I feel...... excited, scared and sad all wrapped in one. Of course there are reasons behind those feelings but due to time constraint, I won't be able to explain in details.. Hehe.. And oh! The bestest part is that Kakak and Cecilia will also be there with me! Yeay!!!

Overall, I feel happy that finally there's a change for me. A good change, I must add. Atleast I can unleash my true potential in order for me to move up to the next level. Hopefully, I'll get to apply whatever that I've learnt in Bugis to the new place.

p/s This also means that I get to join Amali & Saby for their chillax sessions! Looks like I'll be seeing you guys almost everyday? Oh no! Is that a good sign? LOL.

Many congrats to the newly weds, Liyana & Faezal! May your marriage last long till eternity. Insyallah. ;)

I did enjoy myself today especially when I get to see the ex-colleagues after so long of not meeting (well, except for Farhan, that is). It was kinda like a mini reunion for us but it'll be waaaay better if Shariffi and Dzul were to join us. Confirm riuh sekampong! But too bad, masing-masing menghilangkan diri. Chet!

So to cut the long story short, Kakak went off early coz she had other places to go to. Sidetrack a little bit, Liyana's ex-boyfriend (Kakak's brother, refer to the picture below) was also invited to the wedding. I wonder how he felt seeing his ex-girlfriend getting hitched to another guy. And the funny thing was that, when we were all getting ready to go up the dais, the groom actually smiled and even shook hands with him! I guess this is what they call "fate". If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be.

Shortly after Ain (the star karat) had her fill and posed for a few pictures, we made a move. I still had to report to work right after so it was a bit rushing. B and I even managed to spend a little bit of time together before he sent me off to work.

Alright time to hit the sack now. So dead beat! Night people! ;)

weddings

Wedding bells are ringing exceptionally loud this month. First up, will be Liyana's wedding tomorrow. It's gona be double the occasion at Potong Pasir, as her brother's wedding is held on the same day too.. So exciting! But I'm not looking forward to the part where I have to report for work at 5pm later that day. *sulks*

After which, on the 22nd will be Shah and Naz's wedding. It'll be like Topman's very own "wedding of the year" as both are working with the same brand (just different outlet, cool right?). And then we'll have to shuffle between the couple's places just so that we can see how fabulous their decorations are. I've seen their wedding pictures taken at different locations and one of them was at Haji Lane. They only rented the outfits and basically everything else was their own. Even Naz's hair and make-up were done by Shah!

On another note, I'm also looking forward for next week. Will be going out on a date with my Primary School babes. It's been awhile since we last went out in a group right babes? Confirm riuh sekampung! Then the next day, will be Amali's chalet at Downtown East. Makanan mesti banyak-banyak tau Amali! *giggles*

Attended Model Store in Vivo bright and early in the morning. It's the second day and everything was almost completed. And us being TMians, we took our own sweet time to touch up on the necessary stuff and to kill that "sweet time", we took pictures on the Mac desktop that was at TS.

We even tried to pull a prank on the auntie packers by asking them to open up the carton (with Mat Nur in it) but one idiotic guy had to put a ladder on top of the carton.. Of course they'll know that we were up to no good! Haiz.. Bozo, bozo...

Will be going to Vivo again tomorrow for Model Store sign off.. Have to bloody present on the trends and all that crap in front of the office people! Hopefully everything goes smoothly and that they won't be such bitches to ask stupid questions!

Alright gotta go now.. My bed's like calling out to me.. It's been a freaking long day man! Nights! ;)

bike asia 2009

The Bike Asia exhibition at Expo was quite a-ok for me. Was expecting to see alot more bikes on display but come to think of it, I'm no expert in bikes in the first place. Hehe... And oh! It was free admission for ladies so yeah... It was FREE admission! LOL.

Well, nothing interesting to say here except that I got to see B's two dream bikes. Both are very lean machines and I couldn't help but imagine them transforming into Transformers! Hehe. So anyways, if I have that kinda money, I'd definitely go for Ducati's Hypermotard! Sadly, ladies and gentlemen, the keyword here is "IF".. So to make that dream come true, kenalah makan rumput hari-hari ye!

However, if we were to eat grass everyday and still can't save enough money for Hypermotard, this will come in handy.....

Ok so it started like any normal day out with B. The plan was to watch He's Not That Into You since it has been awhile since we last watch a movie. We headed down to Plaza Singapura and collected the tix that B had booked. While waiting for the movie, we each grabbed a sandwich from Subway. Fast forward a bit, the movie's really funny and touching especially when Ben Affleck proposed to Jennifer Aniston... Aaaawww!

So anyways, after the movie B told me that he wanted to go to the toilet (I got to know that this was actually a scheme so that he could call the gang up to get ready! Pandai eh u!). After which he asked me whether I wanted to do some shopping first. I wanted to but at that point of time I really didn't feel like parting with the moolah that Ayah gave me yet. *giggles*

So we went out from PS and all the way I was actually busy telling him about this particular customer that I encountered with the day before. Then we walked towards Istana Park through the underground tunnel (by this time I had no clue why B brought me there and I didn't even ask!).

On the way out, I was actually talking to myself about the couple who were looking at the map, whether they were lost or something (refer to the picture below) and when I turned to look at the front, I saw this group of girls running towards us and I was like "Ni apesal ni lari2?".. I didn't even realise it was them until I heard Sab's voice and they sang the birthday song!

Now I'm like smiling from ear to ear just recalling every detail that happened yesterday! *giggles*

To think that yesterday was the day I wasn't looking forward to... in the end it came up to this!
