a private show

Yesterday evening, rushed down to Vivo from work to help out on their private event. I had no clue on what the event was all about coz Marco didn't brief me at all! So when I got there, they were actually promoting the City Alive event that'll be happening today over at the Padang (if I'm not wrong heh!).

And the event also featured DJ Sassy. Again I have no clue who she is! All I know is that she was voted as the sexiest DJ ever, she's really tall (even without heels on!).... and that's about it. LOL! I'm not really into this kinda scene thing so pardon me for my lack of knowledge.

Anyways, the whole private event was such a bore, really. All the customers just tried on stuff (over and over again!) and the buying power wasn't that strong. Luckily, my partners, Stephanie and another girl (I didn't get her name!) were really friendly.

Oh and I saw Rose, too! She has really changed alot. I mean she used to be that rough chick but now she has toned down a little bit. Very girly-girly kinda person. I like the new her. Not that I didn't like her in the first place la.. But you get my drift, right? ;)

Enough of yesterday already. I feel like going to StudioFrost's Fashion Festival over at Aranda Country Club. The email that they sent me is really tempting! Told my parents about it but they seem to have no response to it. Tsk! Speaking of which, I just got my top from MDS Collections! Very pretty indeed! Will shop more with you girls from now on! Ceh macam faham gitu kan??

On another "kekek" note, I can't help but type down this conversation I had with B yesterday afternoon. He was on night shift the day before and when he got home in the morning, he texted me to wake him up at 1.30pm so that he could send me to work. And this was how the conversation went.... *giggles*

Me: Hello?
B: *sounded a little fresh* Hello.
Me: You da bangun?
B: Hmm.. Da baru jugak.
(At this point I really thought that he was wide awake)

(I was making sure I heard the right thing.)

(His voice was really calm and wasn't the least irritated when I repeatly told him to repeat his question)

And I'm soooo freaking excited about it! ;)

At the same time, I'm a bit pissed with myself for forgetting to bring home that something I bought earlier in the day. I only realised it when I was already at the platform, waiting for the train to arrive. Bah!

Anyhoos, just received the big "B" today and I must say it was a little disappointing. People are talking about recessions and stuff and we're only feeling the pinch, like, now? So.... OUCH! Haha. Ok it's kinda lame but hell yeah it hurts! Coz at the end of the day you know you've been working your assess off like crazy and at the end of the day you only get like "taik hidung"? *sighs* Whatever it is, I'm still grateful for everything that I have now. I know that there are people who's in a far more crucial state than I am. So I'm thankful for that. ;)

Speaking of work, Jess has been telling me that she really wants to see me go up the next level. Which is a good thing coz at least I know that people do recognise my hardwork all these years. The thing that I'm not too sure is my level of confidence. It's true when Jess said that I'm a soft-hearted/spoken person (only at work, mind you!) coz of that, I'm just afraid that people will take advantage of the situation. And when I do get angry, I feel like the staff don't really have any reaction to that. It's like they don't give that same respect they have towards Jess. I know that respect needs to be earned but sometimes you just have to give them some. But of coz if that person treats you like shit you throw that shit right back. *giggles*

I guess I'll have to add on another resolution for this year:

TO BE MORE OUTSPOKEN AND HAVE CONFIDENCE IN MYSELF!

Here's wishing a very happy birthday to this monster aka Maya..!

Went over to Satay Club at Clarke Quay to celebrate her birthday. Did nothing much except to eat (duh??) and plenty of catching up with each other. The food and atmosphere was a-ok. Wasn't too pleased with the bill, though. In total, all 12 of us spent close to 300bucks! *shakes head*

I already have in mind what to get for him (and I can bet he knows it too) so this year, there'll be no headaches whatsoever. Too bad he'll be working on the actual day so I'm not too sure what the plan's gona be. Will just hafta go with the flow I guess.

By the way, congrats to Jess for being promoted to ASM yesterday! And she was then "forced" to belanja us makan. Siapa agik kalau bukan si tua keparat tu punya idea! Nak makan duit orang je! Benci!!!

And oh!

Before I forget, just a gentle reminder to all those who rides. DO NOT park your bikes at the open space carpark opposite Cineleisure. Just yesterday, B had actually put a parking coupon on his bike and when we came back, we were freaking fined and the parking coupon was NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! We've vowed that whoever who did that stupid and most bastard nak mampos action, he/she will have kurap hands and if it was the parking attendant who threw away our coupon, may you lose your job! Peduli, peduli!
